CADTH undertook an implementation issues analysis to identify and summarize information regarding ischemic stroke imaging within emergency settings in Canada. The analysis identified challenges and enablers in diagnosing ischemic stroke, and provided a general description of current practice and the availability of imaging in various settings across Canada.

The key objective of this Environmental Scan was to identify challenges and enablers in the diagnosis of ischemic stroke, including relevant implementation issues in Canada.
