The Public Policy Forum and the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa are hosting a “big thinking” expert panel discussion on scaling up system transformation and innovation in healthcare with a focus on the role of the physician.
This moderated event will include a presentation by Dr. Danielle Martin, Vice President, Medical Affairs & Health System Solutions at the Women’s College Hospital, about the six big ideas in her upcoming book, Better Now. The panel discussion to follow will focus on how pockets of innovation and system transformation that already exist in Canadian healthcare can be scaled nationally. The panelists, who bring different perspectives and opinions on this topic, will also take questions from participants.
