Nurses and other health care professionals practising at the interface of the health and criminal justice systems are faced with daily challenges unique to their role, the clientele they work with, and the environments in which they practice. The Custody and Caring Conference will provide a forum for highlighting innovations in practice, education, research, and policy development in the field of correctional and forensic health care in Canada and throughout the world. Clinical issues and work life issues unique to nurses, health care professionals, and other professionals working within correctional and forensic environments will be featured.
CADTH will present three sessions at the conference, as well as host an exhibit booth, where we will share new evidence, tools, and resources for nurses and other health care professionals who work within the criminal justice system. You can also see live updates about the conference by following the hashtag #CCaringSK on Twitter.
