Changes to CADTH Reimbursement Review Notifications

Beginning on Thursday, November 5th, we are changing our email notification process for all CADTH reimbursement reviews.

The following milestones in all reimbursement reviews will now be communicated once per week in the new CADTH Weekly Summary:

  • open calls for patient input and clinician input
  • open calls for stakeholder feedback on draft reimbursement recommendations and provisional algorithms
  • notifications of final reimbursement recommendations and provisional algorithms
  • updates and consultations announced in the Pharmaceutical Reviews Update.

The CADTH Weekly Summary will be sent to subscribers every Thursday. It will consolidate and replace all unique emails that were previously sent to announce the input opportunities and updates aforementioned.

Do I need to update my email subscription preferences to receive the CADTH Weekly Summary?

No, your subscription(s) will be automatically updated so that you receive the CADTH Weekly Summary beginning on November 5th. If you would like to change your preferences or unsubscribe, please log into MyCADTH to manage your profile.

Does this affect email notifications about reports on medical devices and clinical interventions?

Not at this time.

We will continue to issue unique e-alerts to notify subscribers of input and feedback opportunities that fall outside of our reimbursement review program.

Does this affect the New at CADTH newsletter?

There will be no changes to New at CADTH — it will continue to summarize all final reports and tools published on cadth.ca in the previous month.
