CADTH Appoints Dr. Nicole Mittmann as its Chief Scientist and Vice-President of Evidence Standards

CADTH is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Nicole Mittmann, MSc., PhD, as CADTH Chief Scientist and Vice-President of Evidence Standards.

Dr. Mittmann will lead CADTH’s shared science groups, including our Health Economics, Research Information Services, and Scientific Affairs teams. She will also be responsible for building networks with academia and representing CADTH at national and international events.

Dr. Mittmann joins CADTH from Cancer Care Ontario, where she was Chief Research Officer. She is also an Assistant Professor with the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology at the University of Toronto, and cross-appointed as Associate Scientist, Evaluative Clinical Sciences, in the Trauma, Emergency and Critical Care Research Program at Sunnybrook Research Institute.

Dr. Mittmann holds an MSc and PhD in pharmacology from the University of Toronto.

Dr. Mittmann’s appointment commences on May 28, 2019.
