This summary tool provides a summary of three evidence-based guidelines and is based on a CADTH review on preventive foot care for patients with diabetes. A summary of the following guidelines is provided:

  • Diabetes Canada
  • NICE‒National Institute for Health and Care Excellence in the UK
  • IWGDF‒International Working Group on the Diabetic Foot (guideline applicable to all countries).
