Webinar – Laboratory Utilization: Knowledge, Attitudes, and Strategies

As a group, primary care physicians are the largest requestors of laboratory tests, making them key stakeholders in any strategies for addressing the over- or underutilization of laboratory tests. 

In this webinar, Dr. Chris Naugler will present the results of a recent survey of Alberta family physicians on knowledge of and barriers to managing lab test utilization in the province. Dr. Roger Thomas will then present the results of two recent systematic reviews of primary care laboratory utilization management interventions.
